What is CMAT?

COMMON MANAGEMENT ADMISSION TEST (CMAT)

-> All India entrance exam for AICTE approved management colleges.
-> Candidates can apply to all approved colleges for MBA.
-> Conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
-> Consists of two exams, one in September  called First Test and other in the month of February called Second Test.


Paper pattern

Quantitative Techniques, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness are the sections. Each section has 25 questions each. Each question has 4 marks each i.e. each section is of 100 marks and the whole test will be of 400 marks.

Correct answer carries 4 marks. Wrong answer carries a negative 1 mark. Which means if we mark a wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted. Questions not attempted carries no marks.


Duration of exam is 180 minutes



A computer based test. During exam rough sheet will be given for use.
